0.2 - 2 GHz Dual Linear Polarised Sinuous Antennas
Model Number QSPDP0.2-2S
The two ports provide orthogonal horizontal and vertical polarisation with less than five degrees variation in the direction of polarisation across the band and substantially better than five degrees over 90% of the band. E- and H-plane patterns are well matched, monotonic from bore-sight and showing negligible squint. Output ports are phased match for generation of high quality circularly polarised waves with the use of an external 90 degree hybrid, should this be required.
The antenna may be used for UWB
applications requiring a fixed phase centre with negligible squint.
Features
- Reasonable Gain, 2 to 4 dBi across the band
-
VSWR < 2:1 over 90% band
- Suitable for use in UWB direction finders, ESM and EW systems, and for precision feeds for large reflector antennas and radio telescopes.
-
High Port Isolation > 40 dB
- Dual Linear Polarisation operation, extendable to CP operation.
- Consistent and reliable antenna patterns across the band.
