The 0.2 - 2 GHz Wideband Printed Vivaldi Antenna offers an extremely wide bandwidth in a package many times smaller and lighter than its Horn Antenna counterpart. With a 2:1 typical VSWR (3:1 max) over a wide bandwidth this antenna provides a solution to the problem of impractically large antenna size at lower frequencies. The Vivaldi antenna is an extremely cost effective solution, providing excellent performance at a low price.
The antenna is constructed from sandwich layers of different materials, providing strength and ruggedness yet retaining its small size and lightweight advantages.
