Q-par Angus has a long established range of Outside Broadcast Antennas covering 2 to 18 GHz and 0.34 (1ft) to 1.2m (4ft) reflector diameter.

Our antennas have been used worldwide for over twenty years, but their robust high quality design and manufacture ensures maximum reliability.

We are able to turnaround requirements for broadcast antennas quickly as most of the piece parts are kept in stock. In this market, a quick turn around is essential, as lead times are low, but broadcasters delivery requirements challenging.

The antennas are also particularly suitable for secure links between civil authorities, anywhere where narrow band, but high quality antennas are required.

Reflectors are precision aluminium spun, with a rolled rim and strengthening hoop for even greater strength. A circular boss fitted at the rear has tapped holes suitable for fitting to a variety of customer mounts, or the Q-par Angus pole mount bracket allowing easy elevation and azimuth adjustment.

The interchangeable and rugged prime focus feeds are quickly and easily fitted to the reflector.  The 400 MHz narrow bandwidth feeds, are available in any frequency band within 2 to 18 GHz range and give high rejection to unwanted signals and other antennas in close proximity.  They have low sidelobes and require no support legs - giving less blockage and higher efficiency than conventional style reflector antennas. 

Linear feeds are easily rotated giving either horizontal or vertical polarisation and are also available circularly polarised RHCP or LHCP.
