Selective-Band Splashplate Antennas (Docking Feeds)
Q-par Angus has a wide range of feeds suitable for just about any size of reflector. These selective band feeds have the advantage of excellent performance at a low cost. The feeds have been deployed widely for use with Outside Broadcast antennas. The feeds can be Linear, Dual Linear or Circularly Polarised. The connector(s) location at the rear of the reflector is a distinct advantage of these style of feeds over prime focus horn feeds with the associated mounting legs and brackets. The most popular reflector sizes for these antennas are 0.6 m, 0.9 m and 1.2 m, although many reflector sizes are available.
