Q-par Angus regularly gets involved with helping the local community. For the last few years, we have provided a member of staff to mentor a team to run a company under the 'Young Enterprise' programme.

'Young Enterprise' offers students the opportunity to run a real company. YE programmes include Company, Team and Graduate levels, enabling students to learn about aspects of business from the first hand experiences of volunteers.

Over the past few years, a member of our staff has been helping our local secondary school, Minster College, to set up and a run a fully-fledged business. The team does the actual work, but the company mentor helps to guide the team with real life experiences and advice in running a successful business.

In addition, Q-par Angus sponsors one of the prizes in the county heats - the competition for 'Best Team Spirit' - which was awarded to the team from Herefordshire College of Art and Design this year. The prize was presented by Mr. Julian Robbins.
