New Ultra Wide Band (UWB) 1 - 26.5 GHz Reflector Antenna Launched

by julianr last modified Wed 07 November 2007 15:25

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of our new ultra wide band reflector antenna. Covering 1 to 26.5 GHz with a single feed, the design provides good performance with a simple but reliable design. The antenna is also available with either our QTP-B or QTP-C tripods.

1 - 26.5 GHz Ultra Wideband Reflector Antenna

The antenna utilises our recently introduced 1 - 18 GHz horn which provides reasonable illumination of the dish even up to 26.5 GHz. A 0.9m offset reflector configuration is chosen to maximise performance.

Gain of the antenna is typically between 15 rising to 40 dBi at the top end of the band.

Tripods

Both the Q-par ruggedised QTP-B and military grade QTP-C tripods are available for use with this antenna, providing a single product, although the QTP-B is the suggested tripod for this antenna for optimal use. Both tripods offer dependable, robust high quality workmanship, adjustable height, and full pan and tilt facilities.
