New Website Launch
Q-par Angus' new website will be officially launched on the 7th September. The new site uses a state-of-the-art Content Management System to enable company staff to add or edit new content, helping to keep the site more complete and up-to-date.
European Microwave Week
This year the European Microwave Week will be held in Manchester, UK. Q-par Angus will be exhibiting at the Trade Show. The event also provides the opportunity to attend four conferences and various workshops and short courses given by leading experts in their field.

Young Enterprise
Q-par Angus regularly gets involved with helping the local community. For the last few years, we have provided a member of staff to mentor a team to run a company under the 'Young Enterprise' programme.
New Range of Sinuous and Spiral Antennas Announced
Q-par Angus is pleased to announce a new range of printed antennas. The antennas operate over 0.4 - 4, 2 - 18 and 18 - 40 GHz bands, the sinuous antennas operate over 0.7 – 4 GHz, 2 – 18 GHz bands. The range includes Circularly Polarised, Linear and Dual Polarised antennas.
SEAS/EMRS Conference
We will be attending the SEAS/EMRS DTC Conference this year, held in Edinburgh, UK.
EMCUK2007 Conference
Q-par Angus will be exhibiting at the EMC UK Conference and Exhibition held at Newbury Racecourse, Berkshire UK. This is the fourth year that the event has been held and is considered as the premier EMC event in the UK.
Paper Presented on 'A Lightweight, W-band Radar for Environmental Applications'
Q-par Angus Ltd have specifically designed a lightweight radar for environmental applications. Dr Duncan Wynn, Principal Scientist at Q-par Angus Ltd recently presented a paper entitled "A lightweight, ultra wideband, polarimetric W-band radar with high resolution for environmental applications" to the 3rd European Radar Conference held during the 36th European Microwave Conference (EuMW2006) organised by the European Microwave Association (EuMA) on 10-15 September 2006 at the GMEX Centre, Manchester, UK.

New Ultra HiRF EMC Horn Antenna Capability Announced
Q-par Angus was proud to officially launch it's new HiRF Antenna Capability, at the 2006 EMC UK exhibition. This new HiRF (High Intensity Radiated Field) achieves new levels of high field strength, in excess of 3 kV/m @ 1m, across the 0.4 - 18 GHz band.
Exhibition at the 2nd Electronic Warfare Symposium
This is the second Electronic Warfare Symposium - "EW in an NEC Environment" to be held, again at the RCMT Shrivenham, UK.
Exhibition at Loughborough Antennas and Propagation Conference (LAPC) 2007
Q-par Angus will be exhibiting for the second year at the Loughborough Antennas & Propagation Conference on the 2nd and 3rd of April.

New 1 - 18 GHz World's Smallest Linear Polarised Horn Antenna Launched
Fitting into the palm of a hand, and with an aperture size at just over a quarter wavelength at the lowest frequency, this must be the smallest and lightest wide band 1 GHz horn in the market. Despite this, it punches above its weight offering good gain, VSWR and radiation pattern performance right up to 18 GHz.

Q-par Angus will be attending the AFCEA Techwest Conference and Exhibition. We will be demonstrating our new 1 - 18 GHz Single Polarised horn, amongst many new products and technologies.
New 0.9 - 18 GHz Dual Polarised Horn Antennas Available
Q-par Angus is pleased to announce the availability of the new WBHDP0.9-18S, a Dual Polarised 0.9 - 18 GHz Horn Antenna from this week. This horn fulfils the increasing technical requirement for wide band dual polarised horns with good performance.

New Range of Wideband Low Weight Log Periodic Antennas Available
Q-par Angus is pleased to announce a new range of high performance log periodic antennas. The antennas operate over 0.8 - 7.7, 1 - 19 and 4 - 14.5 GHz bands.
Exhibition at Passive Covert Radar Conference 2007
Q-par Angus will be attending the AoC Passive Covert Radar 2007 Conference and Exhibition. We will be demonstrating our new range of sinuous antennas and radar front end antenna experience amongst many new products and technologies.
New Ultra Wide Band (UWB) 1 - 26.5 GHz Reflector Antenna Launched
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of our new ultra wide band reflector antenna. Covering 1 to 26.5 GHz with a single feed, the design provides good performance with a simple but reliable design. The antenna is also available with either our QTP-B or QTP-C tripods.
New Theoretical Research Findings
Dr Andrew Mackay recently presented a paper on the theory of optimal Radar Absorbent Materials (RAM) at the ICEAA07 Conference in Italy, September 2007. A version of this paper is now included on our web site. Also, two recent submissions for publication to the IET Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation journal. The first is concerned with fundamental bandwidth performance limits to finite antennas. The second is concerned with the dispersion properties and physical realiseability of negative refractive index materials.
