Radar Capabilities
Q-par Angus Ltd has produced both primary and secondary radar, operating from HF to EHF, metre to sub-millimetre wavelengths, for civil and military users. Host platforms have included ground (man-portable), sea (ship and submarine), airborne (fast jet, rotary wing/helicopter, balloon, UAV, HAP) and space-based systems. Radar targets include stationary and dynamic objects, both real and synthetic, in real and representative environments.
Q-par Angus Ltd has designed, built and operated ground, sea- and
airborne-based radar systems for a variety of national and
international government organisations including UK MoD, DTI, DSTL,
US DoD, NASA, DSTO, as well as academia and industry. Our experience of
radar systems that operate from HF through to W-band and above, is
extensive. Recent radar systems that have been developed include a
millimetre wave airfield runway debris avoidance radar.
