Protective Finishing
Our preferred finishing method is traditional wet spraying, for its reliably fine finish, and premium quality primers and topcoats for maximum durability. The attractive appearance and protective qualities offered by our coating systems will add value to your equipment as well as extending its service life.
A recent overhaul of our spraying facility has extended our capacity greatly, and all but the very largest components are now sprayed in-house. Powdercoating, where appropriate, is outsourced to trusted local suppliers.
Working closely with Trimite, Cromadex and International Protective Coatings, we have hand-picked our finishing components from among the best available anywhere in the world. With our own in-house research and testing facilities, we have developed three off-the-shelf painting options. These will meet practically any requirement for a protective finish.
- Standard - A durable, economical acrylic system suitable for indoor installation and laboratory use.
- Special - An anticorrosive acrylic system with enhanced adhesion, suitable for permanent outdoor installation and most commercial applications.
- Marine - A highly advanced polysiloxane system giving outstanding protection against the harshest of environments. This is our recommended option for coastal, marine and military applications.
All three systems are available from stock in our standard gloss white finish. A complete range of colours and gloss levels is available to order by RAL number, Federal Standard code or by optical colour matching to existing components. Alternatively, you may wish to specify your own complete paint system. If so, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
